We have not yet made our money for our return trip to Belize. Not even close. But we have been working on a project that will make money for us.
In my last post (a long time ago) I had mentioned creating an online store as a way to make money. It is almost complete! It has consumed ALL of our time so far, so I am feeling really good to see how close it is to being up and running.

It will be up soon though. Should be ready in time for x-mas shoppers. All we need to do is finish adding inventory, SEO, and back linking.
So, what else has been going on with us (Belize related)?
I got a donation for the Maya village sustainable tourism project.
That project is on hold until I get back to Belize, but the funds are appreciated (by many people) and can sit in the account until I get back. If you don't know about this project you can check it out here... http://www.gofundme.com/27687g
Also I have encountered many people interested in buying property in Belize. Most of these people are family. I am trying to think of a way to put many peoples money together and buy a very large track of land. Then subdivide the land into parts with sizes equal to the size of the money contributed by each partner. I am kind of considering opening this up to anyone who wants to be involved. There is a lot to consider and a lot of trust involved (which is the main reason its mostly a family thing). Imagine sending me $10,000 and you don't know me. What keeps me from stealing your money? I don't know how to deal with those kind of issues/questions yet. I am open to ideas and encourage you to send any advice.
What else....
I just spent the weekend at a place called Graves Mountain. Its a cool place in the mountains of Virginia and it reminded me so much of San Antonio Village in Cayo, Belize. That with the donation and a few good questions about Belize in my inbox had me wanting to make a new post on this blog.
I would like to take some time and say I am sorry for the lack of postings lately. I have been working on this online store and doing nothing else. That gives me very little to talk about (unless you want to talk about coding in php <boaring> lol).
