We need to save money so we have been planting.

These pictures were taken 1 week apart from the original. Some don't grow fast enough to change enough to take a 2nd picture yet.

Papaya

Coco yam

Cocoyam is like potato. Its a wet season plant. I got it to sprout by watering it but its going to really take off  next month when the rains start. I will update it then.


Habanero

Habanero here seem to have deformed 1st batch. I dont know why.
First habaneros are always deformed. The next ones will look fine. Its weird.

Culantro
Culantro grows wild in almost every yard. We are trying it as a ground cover.Culantro flowering


Garlic

If it sprouts on our kitchen counter before we can eat it, we plant it.
We just eat the green parts as chives.

Bluego Bananas
These always look the same. The banana is good to eat green (not sweet) and ripe yellow.


Broccoli

Cassava
This grows into small trees and have BIG potato like roots.

Lemon Grass
This makes an awesome tea which not only tastes good but relieves flu symptoms.
